To My Students...

Dear Students,

Welcome to 5^th Grade at English Landing!  I hope you are as excited as I am to begin a new year full of learning adventures. I am Mrs. Schneider and I will be journeying through the next school year and FLiP with you.  That is a long time to spend with someone you don’t know too well, so let me tell you a little bit about myself.

This is my 16th year teaching.  I taught fourth and fifth  grades in Liberty, and was proud to call English Landing my new home in 2008.  I have two boys, Zach and Ben.  Zach is in sixth grader, and Ben is in fourth grade.  I have two frisky cats, Flower and Charlie. One of my favorite foods is cereal, especially Frosted Flakes! I could eat it for every meal if my family would let me!  I love to read, shop, and go to sporting events with my family.

Fifth grade is a big year and so much fun!  Radical Challenge, FLiP, and MANY other activities await you.  Not only are you entering a new hallway at English Landing…you are graduating into a leadership role.  You will be looked up to as helpers and leaders to all students and staff.  

I am looking forward to the first day Wednesday!  I will see you bright and early!
